It's officially March 1st, since it's after 2 am here. Tomorrow, I'll go on my first FREE shopping trip, to see what I can get for nothing.
My mailbox was full of coupons today & a sample. These coupons will come in handy when I'm looking to get products for free. I still want to try & stretch them & get a little more if I can. We'll have to wait & see, as it all depends on the sales. I hate to pay a lot for anything these days. I've been couponing and refunding and raking in the savings.
Here are the coupons & sample I received in the mail today:
One box of Hamburger Helper Microwave Singles
One $8 coupon off Iams dog or cat food
One coupon good for one Stouffers party size meal (up to $12.99)
One coupon for a FREE bottle of Coffee-Mate creamer (up to $4.50)
One coupon for a free bag of Purina dog food (up to $7.19)
One coupon for one package of General Mills food product (up to $6.00)
One coupon for a FREE 6 pack of Yoplait Yogurt drink or cups (up to $3.65)
This is a great way to start off my challenge. Now to see if I can stretch these coupons with a sale.

March Challenges
I've been such a bad blogger. I just didn't have anything upbeat & fun to write about. I hope that all changes soon. I'm planning on doing 2 challenges in March..and I'm really excited about both of them.
Starting March 1st, I'm going to see how much I can get for free. I'm going to do this for the entire month, and will give you a weekly update on how I do. I can't wait to get started!
Last but certainly not least, I'm joining in Barb's "31 days of March" challenge. You can read more about the challenge by going here:

Barb will be posting promts daily, and participants have to take a photo, and or write about it or make a LO. I'm super excited to get started. I hoping this will kick start my creative juices so I can get back to scrapping. I haven't made a LO or a card in 2008.

Our Weather
It's February. Are you covered in snow? Battling record rains? Or enjoying the sun? Take a picture today that captures your Feb. weather. Too cold to go outside - why not take a pix of a thermometer or you heater or electric blanket? Share your photo if you get a chance. We'd love to see what your weather is like.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our weather is a warm 75 today. It's really nice out & feels like the perfect spring day. I've got all the windows open. I just wish I felt good enough to run some errands today, as it's supposed to rain over the next few days.

How I spent my Saturday
It's Saturday. Is it a special Saturday for you with an "event" to photograph? Or a typical Saturday driving the kids to games, practices, or doing chores? Either way, take a photo to commemorate your Saturday activity.
-------------------------------------------------
My blood pressure is really low today, making me feel like a wet rag. It's been running high, but took a nose dive early this morning. That forced me to spend the day in bed. I had my laptop to keep me busy, although I would have rather been shopping. I'm missing out on a lot of good deals. :-( If I have to stay in bed, at least I can log on to my favorite board.

My Wish For You
May you get a clean bill of health from your dentist, your cardiologist, your gastro-enterologist, your urologist, your proctologist, your podiatrist, your psychiatrist, your plumber and the I.R.S.
May your hair, your teeth, your face-lift, your abs and your stocks not fall; and may your blood pressure, your triglycerides, your cholesterol, your white blood count and your mortgage interest not rise.
May you find food better, the environment quieter, the cost much cheaper, and the pleasure much more fulfilling than anything else you might ordinarily do that night.
May what you see in the mirror delight you, and what others see in you delight them. May someone love you enough to forgive your faults, be blind to your blemishes, and tell the world about your virtues.
May the telemarketers wait to make their sales calls until you finish dinner, may the commercials on TV not be louder than the program you have been watching, and may your check book and your budget balance - and include generous amounts for charity.
May you remember to say "I love you" at least once a day to your spouse, your child, your parent, your siblings; but not to your secretary, your nurse, your masseuse, your hairdresser or your tennis instructor.
May we live in a world at peace and with the awareness of God's love in every sunset, every flower's unfolding petals, every baby's smile, every lover's kiss, and every wonderful, astonishing, miraculous beat of our heart.

Bargain Shopping
Did I tell how much I love a bargain? It's true...just ask anyone that knows me well.
Tonight Mom & I went to CVS. The entire cargo area of my SUV is loaded up with my CVS bags. There has to be at least 35 bags. I bought 20 rolls of toilet paper, 6 bottles of Palmolive dish liquid, 2 cans of coffee, 10 boxes of puffs tissue, 4 two Liter bottles of soda (for a rebate!) 4 boxes of Huggies baby wipes, 3 mouth wash bottles, 2 boxes of Russle Stover chocolates, 5 bottles of all strong and mighty, 3 bottles of Robitussin, 5 bags of cough drops, 1 bottle of Huggies body wash, 1 four pack of Kodak film, 4 boxes of foil and 4 boxes of zip lock bags. I know I'm missing some other things. I can't remember everything since the bags are still in the car. I know I didn't spend more than $15 for everything.
Start saving those Sunday coupon inserts. They are worth getting a subscription to the news paper, just for them.
