A Family Loss

Sadly, my dear father in law slipped away, in the early hours of September, 16th. This gentle man will be dearly missed. He was on of the great ones...If you knew him, you loved him. Please keep the family in your prayers, especially my mother in law. They were married for 61 years...and she's going to be lost with out him.

Prayers Needed Please

Please add my dear Father in law to your prayers. He is not doing well. Hospice has been called in & the family has hired nurses to attend to him. My brother in law Pat & his sweet wife Joyce have been doing the lion's share of work in caring for my Father in law. They are my hero's!

Please add my SBA sisters, Dawn & Tara to your prayers. They are in Baton Rouge, which was hit really hard the other day.

***Update: My Father in law continues to get weaker & weaker. He can't feed him self, and doesn't have the strength to walk or sit up. Please continue to keep this sweet, sweet, man in your prayers.

Dawn & her family are safe & sound, staying with family in another state. We've also heard from Tara. I'm so glad both families survived the storm.

My Dear FAther In Law

My Father in law is one of the nicest people I know. I don't think I've ever heard him utter an unkind word. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer & it metastasised. Last time I saw Dad, he looked like a 70 year old man & walked 10 miles a day. He now has problems walking, getting up from a seated position and appears to be in his 90's. It's so, so, sad.

Please add him and the family to your prayers.

My Dear Dad

Today marked the third anniversary of my Father's passing. I miss him terribly. There isn't a day that goes by, that he doesn't pop into my mind. It's hard to believe that 3 years have come & gone...loosing him still feels so fresh & painful to me.

My Cousin, Carol

My cousin, Carol is coming up from North Carolina to stay with me a few days in two weeks. I'm soooooo excited. I've been really depressed lately, and her visit is just thing I need to get me out of my slump.

Carol is the nicest person I know. She's so loving and sweet, and a wonderful Christian. I love being around her, because I'm always in a good mood when she's around. I love you Carol...lots!
