Target deals

I went to Target & purchased:

20 bottles of joint juice
4 bags of morningstar chicken tenders
4 kitchen sponges
4 boxes of pop-tarts

I was hungry, so I picked up 1 snickers candy bar to hold me until I got home.

I paid 48 cents for all the above....the tax. : )

For those following my challenge to see what I can get for FREE for the month, here's my fist report. I had a very successful shopping week. I now have enough soap to last me a year or two.

Walgreens had Olay soap on sale for 2 for $4. I had a pile of $2 off coupons. So every pack I bought was FREE with coupons. There was a great bonus. For every two 2 packs I bought, I was paid $4 in register rewards. So, pay 24 cents (tax), earn $4 in register rewards. I repeated this deal, over & over.

The register rewards expired in a week, and I wasn't sure if I would be in the hospital or not. So, I took all of my register rewards & turned them into a $50 Visa gift card.. So I scored a lot of free soap & earned a $50 gift card . Not bad...for only having to pay tax.

A little help with my 31 day FREE challenge

It's officially March 1st, since it's after 2 am here. Tomorrow, I'll go on my first FREE shopping trip, to see what I can get for nothing.

My mailbox was full of coupons today & a sample. These coupons will come in handy when I'm looking to get products for free. I still want to try & stretch them & get a little more if I can. We'll have to wait & see, as it all depends on the sales. I hate to pay a lot for anything these days. I've been couponing and refunding and raking in the savings.

This is a great way to start off my challenge. Now to see if I can stretch these coupons with a sale.

March Challenges

I've been such a bad blogger. I just didn't have anything upbeat & fun to write about. I hope that all changes soon. I'm planning on doing 2 challenges in March..and I'm really excited about both of them.

Starting March 1st, I'm going to see how much I can get for free. I'm going to do this for the entire month, and will give you a weekly update on how I do. I can't wait to get started!

Our weather is a warm 75 today. It's really nice out & feels like the perfect spring day. I've got all the windows open. I just wish I felt good enough to run some errands today, as it's supposed to rain over the next few days.

My blood pressure is really low today, making me feel like a wet rag. It's been running high, but took a nose dive early this morning. That forced me to spend the day in bed. I had my laptop to keep me busy, although I would have rather been shopping. I'm missing out on a lot of good deals. :-( If I have to stay in bed, at least I can log on to my favorite board.
